Prints created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper. Pigment printers produce the highest quality, archival fine art photographic prints. These printers are used to produce exhibition prints for the worlds best photographers. 

Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the image, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists’ originals. Every print has a border of at least .5 inches to permit various framing options.

This print can be custom framed in white or black wood with UV protected plexiglass and a white archival mat. Please note: Framed art may take up to 3 weeks to ship. Available for U.S. orders only.

ARTIST STATEMENT


Philip Volkers ARPS was born 6th September 1980 and grew up in the Wiltshire countryside. After Sherborne School he studied Philosophy and Comparative Religion, obtaining his degree from The School of Oriental and African Studies. Philip has travelled extensively in India, the Middle East and the United States. He is an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society and in 2009 he received the inaugural Jeff Vickers MBE / Genix Bursary for aspiring young talent.

Philip served his apprenticeship as first assistant to Robert Fairer in his backstage work for American Vogue on the collections in Paris, Milan and London.

Philip's own work includes commercial and high fashion, celebrity portraits, extreme sports and social reportage. Inspired by nature, the occult and radical self-expression, his style is playful and fantastical, sometimes shocking, deconstructing the subject to reveal its true nature.
